Licensing and Partnership Coordinator

Job Overview
The Licensing and Partnerships Coordinator will support the licensing team by conducting research on potential artists, partners, and new POP MART-owned or exclusive IPs in North America, while also managing day-to-day operations and maintaining contracts for both inbound and outbound licensing. This role requires staying informed about artists, pop culture trends, and market opportunities for new collaborations, along with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to ensure success in this position.
What You Will Achieve
- Exploration of New IPs: Assist the team in researching and identifying artists as potential POP MART-owned or exclusive IPs.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on potential partners for collaborations, initiate conversations for possible partnerships, and maintain an updated list of opportunities for internal use.
- Product Development: Monitor market trends in pop culture and merchandise to identify opportunities that align with our merchandising goals.
- Visual Communication: Collaborate with internal teams at our HQ to develop presentations and materials that effectively showcase IPs and communicate licensing opportunities. This includes working on pitch decks and mock-ups to support outbound efforts.
- Contract Management: Manage key aspects of contract terms for licensing, track key dates, ensure accurate royalty reporting, and oversee marketing budget calendars.
What You Will Need
- 3-5 years experience in licensing, merchandising, or a related field, preferably within the entertainment or toy industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
- Familiarity with contract management and royalty reporting processes. NetSuite experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge and interest in genre character-based artists and the new contemporary art market
